Front and center is a spectacular oval shaped cabochon cut natural Opal doublet which displays a full range of spectral colours from blues to greens to yellows and a flash of red. (Doublets are natural Opal on top of a backing for support). The Opal has been bezel set and framed by detailed foliate and scroll work throughout the setting. The pendant is circa 1950’s and is fitted with a solid bail with a 9ct yellow gold cable chain included.
