DESCRIPTION: This delightful locket has been crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold. The locket is a beautiful old gold so has a gorgeous warm hue to it that we only get with these original antique pieces. The locket was made in England, displays Chester hallmarks and is assay dated 1903. The Chester Assay office closed down in 1962 making anything bearing these hallmarks now very collectable. An original Edwardian double sided round shaped locket with a generous sized jump ring/bail that will accommodate a wide variety of chains. There is a decorative screw to the top to secure the insides of the locket. The locket has two glass covers which look to be original to the piece, they are in great condition with only minor nicks to edges not seen when locket is assembled.

A beautiful original Edwardian locket to hold something or a photo of someone treasured. The locket is a lovely size and looks beautiful solo or layered with your favourite antique/vintage chains.🌹🌹
