DESCRIPTION: A gorgeous original Albert chain that has been crafted in solid sterling silver and is an English made piece. Fashioned in a graduated solid (not hollow) curb link chain each link stamped with the lion passant showing that it is a quality made piece, the chain is fastened with a strong Albert style dog clip. These chains are generally made up of a collection of pieces the assay dates and hallmarks telling the story. The chain looks to be made up of several pocket watch chains joined together, all links have the lion passant and look to be of the same era early 1900's. The T-bar is an addition with a more modern 925 hallmark and the glorious fob medal is assay dated 1906. The fob medal is a particularly nice one with a rose gold gilded shield to the back and front and a beautiful intricate hand engraved pattern to front and back. One side does have an engraved initial with looks like JG and the other side is blank.
