DESCRIPTION: Crafted in solid sterling silver is this fabulous Albert chain. An antique chain that dates to the early 1900's. The chain is fashioned in a solid graduating curb link and looks to be made up from a few different Albert chains to create a longer necklace. Every link is stamped with the lion passant. The chain has a T-bar which appears to be a more modern and a lovely fob medal with Birmingham hallmarks dated 1902. The chain fastens with an antique Albert style dog clip. This wonderful Albert chain is a mixture of pieces that have been put together throughout its life to tell a story.
Albert chains make a fabulous statement piece that never date. They looked great worn on the neck or wrapped around the wrist. ⚜️⚜️
In good antique condition. Please Note: The Albert style dog clip does have wear and doesn’t spring well. It does however stay closed to wear. Priced accordingly. ⚜️⚜️
Length of chain from end to end is 52.50cms. Plus T-bar drop.
DOG CLIPS HALLMARKS: Worn unreadable.
